ToolDix

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 14, 2026

ToolDix is designed around free and Pro browser-first utilities, searchable tool directories, community discussions, paid website audits, and sponsored listing and affiliate workflows. This policy explains what data may be collected when you browse, create an account, buy or use the Pro Toolkit, contact us, use a partner link, or submit advertising information.

Browser-first tool processing

Many ToolDix utilities are intended to run locally in your browser. When a tool is browser-first, pasted text, generated values, or local files are processed on your device unless the page clearly states that a server-side feature is required.

This local-processing rule also applies to the browser-local Pro workflows for SEO assets, image batches, developer data, launch content, and decision reports. Source text, structured data, and image files entered into those local Pro workflows are not uploaded to ToolDix or a third-party processor. Locally generated downloads are created in your browser. Ordinary first-party session, entitlement, security, and credit checks may still occur without transmitting the source input.

Pro website audits and payments

The Pro website audit is a server-side feature. When you run it, ToolDix receives the public target URL and any optional AdSense publisher ID you provide, then retrieves the target page and related public resources such as robots.txt, sitemap files, ads.txt, and common trust pages. Those public responses are processed to produce the requested evidence, score, fixes, and exports. Do not submit private-network addresses, credentialed URLs, confidential query values, or a site you are not authorized to evaluate.

For Pro purchases, ToolDix stores the account, product, amount, currency, purchase and payment status, provider order or capture identifiers, entitlement dates, remaining server audit credits, and credit-ledger records needed to grant access, prevent duplicate fulfillment, handle refunds, and resolve disputes. PayPal processes checkout and payment information under its own privacy terms; ToolDix does not receive your complete payment card or bank credentials.

Pro Toolkit pages disable third-party advertising and third-party analytics scripts, including configured AdSense, Google Analytics, and Plausible scripts. ToolDix may still use necessary first-party requests for authentication, checkout, entitlement and credit enforcement, abuse prevention, and privacy-minimized operational records. Opening PayPal checkout takes you to PayPal as a separate payment-provider destination.

Information we collect

We may collect account information such as email address, public username, hashed password, profile settings, saved items, forum posts, comments, tool feedback, support requests, Pro purchase and entitlement records, advertising submissions, payment status, and uploaded assets connected to those workflows. When you use personalization or decision workspaces, we may also store your selected role, recurring task descriptions, tool preferences, workspace objectives, candidate lists, test notes, decision reasons, workflow steps, and prompts that you choose to save.

Workspaces and personalization

Workspace and interest-profile data is associated with your signed-in account and is used to sync your work, generate explainable directory recommendations, and improve your ToolDix dashboard. Workspace content is private by default and is not sold to third parties.

If you enable read-only sharing, ToolDix creates an unlisted link that allows anyone with that link to view the shared workspace until you disable sharing. Shared workspace pages are marked not to be indexed, but an unlisted link is not a substitute for access control. Do not store or share passwords, API keys, private customer data, confidential documents, or other secrets in workspace objectives, notes, steps, or prompts.

Analytics, cookies, and advertising

ToolDix may use analytics services, performance logs, cookies, and advertising technologies to understand site usage, improve pages, measure sponsored listing performance, prevent abuse, and support monetization. If Google AdSense, Google Analytics, Paddle, Resend, or other providers are enabled on ToolDix pages, they may process data according to their own policies.

ToolDix may display clearly labeled affiliate links. Displaying one does not by itself open the partner's website. If you click, the destination or affiliate network may receive referral parameters in the URL and ordinary request information such as your IP address, browser or device details, referring page, and visit time. The partner or network may use cookies or similar technologies to attribute a later signup or purchase under its own privacy and cookie policies. Using an affiliate link is optional; see the Affiliate Disclosure for details.

These third-party advertising and analytics scripts are not loaded on Pro Toolkit routes. The separate PayPal checkout destination remains subject to PayPal's own cookies and data practices.

This privacy policy page is intentionally served without advertising tags or consent-message scripts so visitors can read the policy before making privacy choices.

ToolDix also keeps limited first-party page-view analytics for site analytics, security protection, and spam or invalid-traffic prevention. These records may include the page path, an anonymous visitor ID, user-agent, country or region code, bot/human classification, signed-in account ID when applicable, and a referrer source domain. Referrers are reduced to the source domain before storage, query strings are not stored, and ToolDix does not store plain-text IP addresses in these analytics records.

ToolDix may also record controlled product interaction events such as searches, tool views, outbound provider clicks, favorites, pins, affiliate impressions or clicks, comparisons, finder submissions, reviews, newsletter signups, and return visits. Affiliate event payloads are restricted to the event type, sanitized ToolDix page path, tool identifier, source, partner identifier, placement, a server-verification proof, and, for a custom comparison, the normalized two-to-four-tool selection. The proof and custom selection are removed before storage. Like other product events, stored Affiliate records may also include a pseudonymous visitor ID, signed-in account ID when applicable, country or region code, bot/human classification, and event time. They do not store the destination URL, referral parameter, email address, or plain-text IP address. Product events store controlled categories and counts rather than free-form search text, metadata uses a strict allowlist, and page query strings are removed.

ToolDix does not sell first-party analytics data.

Advertising and analytics providers may receive information such as your IP address, device and browser details, page URL, referrer, approximate location, cookie identifiers, and interaction signals. Google AdSense may use cookies or similar identifiers to deliver ads, measure ad performance, prevent invalid traffic, and, where permitted, personalize ads.

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a visitor's prior visits to ToolDix or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to serve ads based on visits to ToolDix and/or other sites on the Internet.

Visitors may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. If third-party ad vendors or ad networks serve ads on ToolDix, visitors may also use those vendors' sites or industry opt-out tools, where available, to control personalized advertising cookies.

When legally required, visitors may be shown consent choices for advertising cookies and personalized ads, including choices served through Google consent tools or a Google-certified consent management platform. You can also control cookies through your browser settings, review Google ad personalization controls, or contact ToolDix through the contact page for privacy requests.

Community and public content

Forum discussions, tool reviews, public usernames, and other community contributions may be visible to other visitors and search engines. Avoid posting private keys, credentials, personal documents, or confidential business information.

How we use data

We use submitted information to operate accounts, respond to support requests, moderate forum and review content, process sponsored listings, verify Pro payments, grant or revoke Pro entitlements, account for server audit credits, run requested public-site audits, sync private workspaces, personalize directory recommendations, analyze traffic, improve search quality, prevent spam, and comply with payment, tax, security, and legal obligations.

Data retention and user choices

We keep information for as long as needed to operate ToolDix, resolve disputes, comply with obligations, and maintain site integrity. You may contact us through the contact page to request updates, export, or removal of eligible personal information. Some records may be retained when needed for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, payment records, or site integrity.
